The Ephorate of Antiquities of the Region of Thessaloniki is a Regional Service of the General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and Sports at the Directorate level, is based in Thessaloniki and has jurisdiction extending to the prefecture of Thessaloniki outside the Thessaloniki Urban Complex.
